Girls from Preston Manor School and Alperton Community School joined together in the celebration of Science Week.
We worked very hard over one day to make a website highlighting the achievements of female scientists both today and throughout history.

We used the Internet to find as much information as we could on women scientists. Then we each chose a different scientist and made a webpage about them and their work.

This is the first time we have made web pages. We used different programs to make our website look attractive and easy to read, including Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

We feel that we have learnt a different view about female scientists.
