A cross curricular project with music and art/media. Music students worked with Charles, a poet and a music technology group to write, perform and produce a piece of music based on the theme: 'Keepin it Real' Whilst Trish, along with 2 ex-students worked with students from Copland, Wembley High, Queen's Park and Preston Manor to: plan, film and edit the video for the music. The students learnt how to analyse music videos (Spike Jonze) by understanding the different types of shots, camera angles and techniques. They planned storyboards and learnt the basics of editing using iMovie.
Students will also be producing the publicity for the project at after
school sessions in the following weeks.
The project will be showcased in the last week of school and
students will be given a CD.
