If your email message has an attachment, an image of paper clip may appear with the message in the Inbox.

1. Open the email in the usual way. Click the name of the attachment (usually located at the top). You will be asked if you want to open or save the attachment. Click Save, this will open the Save dialogue box.

Note! Pictures may open automatically at the bottom of your email message. To save it, Right click your mouse, click ‘Save Picture As’, the Save dialogue box will open (follow step 2 below).

2. Make sure the ‘Save In’ box has the name of the folder you want to save the attachment in, if not click the arrow on the right of the ‘Save in’ box and click the folder your want. Click Save.

Warning!! Do not open an attachment to an email if you are not sure who sent it. It could contain a serious virus that can cause damage to your computer.
