Auto fill allows you to copy a formula into other cells in that row or column. This saves a lot of time.

1. Click cell that contains the answer from a formula.
2. You will notice a small black nodule, bottom right of the cell (this is known as the Fill Handle).
2. Click onto the Fill handle (do not release) when you see the black cross, drag down the column or across the row to select the required cells.
3. When you have selected all the cells you need, release the mouse. The answers will appear.
