Community Courses
These courses are heavily subsidised by the centre and there is a small charge for each workshop to help cover research, development and running costs which does not reflect the actual value.

Beginners Computing - This course is aimed at absolute beginners. Are your computing skills up to scratch? Do you feel that everyone knows more than you? Learn the basics of using a computer and a mouse. Workshops will cover an introduction to Windows, creating letters and other documents using Microsoft Word, Classes will take place in a relaxed and friendly working environment.
Time: Mondays and Tuesdays 10.00-1.00pm
Dates: This is a 3 week course: 1st October until 15th October 2007

Internet Skills - Aimed at those with basic mouse and typing skills. Learn how to send and receive email and photos. How find useful information and services on the Internet. How to shop and book flights and get advice on the various security options available to protect yourself and your computer.

Web Design - Aimed at those with basic computer skills, learn how to create a web page for any topic you chose. Insert photos, movies and music and create special effects. Learn how to upload your webpage on the Internet for all your friends and family to see. It is not as difficult as you think.
