We are here to help learners enjoy learning and make the learning journeys they take on more relevant. Here at the centre we enable learners to get stuck in with digital radio, web creation and music production. We hope to offer learners an opportunity to develop their learning in a way that suits them.
For the Community:
For Parents:
We are here to offer you the chance to work with your children and learn at the same time. Many parents who we have worked with have really enjoyed the experience of learning from their children as well as alongside them. Parents can view and listen to their childrenís work on our online archives. We are hoping this will give parents a better insight to their childís learning journey.
For Consultants:
We offer consultants the chance to develop their practise and network with other professionals and teachers. Further: We are actively aware of new developments in the plan for the future of education in the UK. In particular we are responding to the recent DfES paper (link). The government has put in place a vision for the immediate future of education and it means a transition for all of us involved in teaching. Preston Manor City Learning Centre purpose is to help enable that transition.
