About Us
Preston Manor CLC is helping to change the way people feel about learning. We believe in collaboration and the power of communities to enable learning. We use the latest technology and thinking to support teaching and learning for schools and all communities and families.
Our aim is to enhance the learning experience for learners of all ages both in and out of school through the effective use of digital technology. The ways in which we do this are:
- To train and support teachers
- To encourage learning communities
- To help the wider community develop digital skills
- To stretch Gifted and Talented students
- To enable social inclusion by developing courses and models specifically designed for traditionally hard-to-reach learners
- To encourage a new generation of technologically literate kinesthetic learners to go into the world confident in their abilities
- To innovate, try and test with new approaches and tools for learning
- To provide online learning materials that act as supportive building blocks for learning and teaching activities. We develop tools and methods of teaching that are designed to directly map to curriculum areas and national strategies in KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5
- To go into schools on the invite of teachers to create strategic and integrated ICT learning programmes specifically designed for them.
We provide a calm, creative and supportive environment in which people of all ages are encouraged to come and enjoy learning new skills.
